Event Description: WHY are the Dallas County Democrats (DCD) going go to the fair?

We have the chance to talk to folks we might not otherwise run into who are from areas of the county outside of our urban/suburban areas.  People come from rural areas and small towns of Dallas County to the fair and this gives us the opportunity to hear what’s on their minds.

It’s great exposure for us Democrats to distribute brochures on behalf of our many excellent candidates.  We can talk to people about getting more involved with the Dallas County Democrats and our Democratic Candidates’ Campaigns. We will have a notebook where you can take down names and contact information for follow-up to invite folks to our events or get on our E-newsletter list.  

Also, we will have voter registration forms because “Get Out the Vote” activities are always important as we head into the General Election on November 3, 2026.
