We're looking for volunteers to walk alongside UAD in the upcoming 4th of July Parade! The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 4. We'll share more details as soon as possible about UAD's parade slot, which will determine our exact meeting location. The parade starts by the old City Hall and advances north on 70th Street to Aurora Ave. Then it continues west on Aurora to 82nd Street. Event Description: Trump will be joined by all of the Iowa Republican boot-licking elected officials at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Thursday, July 3rd at 7:30 PM. Doors open to the event at 4:30 PM. We will meet outside of the "Grand Gate" located on East 30th and East Grand between 4:00 until around 7:30 PM. (Volunteer-organized event by Bitches Get Stuff Done PAC, Bondurant, IA)

Come and go as you are able. The weather could be roasty-toasty, so come prepared with water, sunblock, signs, umbrellas and even camping chairs, should you desire.

There are several entrances and exits from the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Be sure to RSVP to receive updates as they become available, in case we need to adjust our plans.

Trump has done so many egregious moves in just six months that you're welcome to bring signs regarding any of your grievances. Let us all come together to show our disgust of Trump visiting our state and hi-jacking Des Moines’ East Side!
