Event Description: The Grimes Area Democrats and Urbandale Area Democrats are teaming up to make sure all voters have an opportunity to hear from our Democratic statewide candidates! Join us today for a chance to hear from a line-up of statewide candidates who will appear on the November 3 election ballot.

We’re excited to welcome Emcee Pat Rynard, founder of Iowa Starting Line and co-founder of the Iowa Creator Corps.

Our candidate line-up includes: Secretary of Agriculture Candidate Chris Jones, Secretary of State Candidate Ryan Peterman, and State Treasurer Candidate John Norwood. We’ll keep you posted on updates to our line-up as we hear back from additional candidates who were invited.

This event is free of charge and voters from around Urbandale, Grimes, and beyond are welcome to attend! The candidates will take written questions, so please come prepared to submit your question in writing at the beginning of the event. We can’t wait to see you there!
