It is Funnel Week at the Iowa Legislature! So it will be packed with subcommittee and committee meetings.

This also means all bills have to pass out of one committee in the House or Senate side to stay alive for the rest of the session, with the exception of tax bills which are exempt from funnel. Many bills will quietly die in committee, however, some come back as a zombie amendment to a bill late in the session.

Iowa Republicans' goal is clear: Restrict care until it's too difficult to access. Join in a show of opposition to this harmful bill and to show legislators that we will hold them accountable for their votes.

Wear pink, Planned Parenthood advocacy gear if you have it (they will have extra swag available!). We recommend you bring headphones and a mobile device if you would like to listen in to the subcommittee meeting, as there is limited space in the room that will be prioritized for storytellers and testifiers
