Event Description: The government shutdown is over, but tens of millions of people remain at risk of losing access to SNAP benefits, Medicare, and other essential programs — all to pay for tax breaks for corporations and the rich.

Join Food & Water Watch, AFL-CIO, PSL Iowa, and other allies on Saturday, Dec. 6 to protest against these massive cuts and demand immediate action from our elected Representative Zach Nunn!

This mobilization will kick off at Cowles Commons, right outside Nunn's office in Des Moines, where Feed Des Moines will be collecting donations for food distribution and community aid. Together we'll organize community aid and rally to ensure our message reaches every elected official in Iowa:
