Primary elections will be held across Iowa for the Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian Parties on June 4, 2024. Primaries are closed in the State of Iowa, which means a voter will need to declare a party (Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian) to participate in the primary. Primary winners will move on to the November 5, 2024 General Election. Polling places will be open on election day from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
